With Highlands Ranch fireworks canceled for 2026, HRCA hosts a free concert on July 2 at Highland Heritage Regional Park. Ragged Union opens with bluegrass at 6 p.m., and Jeff Goodwin and the Front Range Cowboys headline at 7:30. Food trucks on site; bring lawn chairs.
HRCA Independence Day Parade and 5K
Highlands Ranch keeps its July 4 morning traditions: the Independence Day 5K at 7:30 a.m. from Dorchester Street, a Pet and Bike Parade at 8:45, and the main parade at 9 a.m. along Highlands Ranch Parkway between Hepburn and Ridgeline.
Parker Fourth of July Fireworks
Parker's fireworks show lights up around 9:30 p.m. from the northeast side of Salisbury Park. The town is running fireworks only in 2026, with no daytime festival. Parking is limited to about 300 paved spaces, so good off-site viewing spots include Bar CCC Park, McCabe Meadows, and the Cherry Creek Trail.
Castle Rock Fourth of July at Festival Park
Castle Rock's free Independence Day celebration runs from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. at Festival Park, with live music, food trucks, the returning Pie Bake-Off, and fireworks at dusk (around 9:30 p.m.) launched from the Philip S. Miller Park area and visible across town.

Walking Tours of Downtown Castle Rock

This event is for people who wish to observe and enjoy the night sky. Our new site has many power outlets for all your needs on a broad patio. If you bring a telescope or binoculars, please be willing to share views with our guests who have no equipment.
