Casa Mariachi

A family-owned Parker Mexican restaurant on South Parker Road that's been the steady choice for the east side of DougCo. 4.2 stars, ranked top-10 in Parker, known for margaritas and a deep tequila list. Doesn't try to be Los Dos Potrillos. Doesn't need to.
Why it's here
Casa Mariachi at 9771 S Parker Road has been the family-run, Mexican-beer-and-margarita-focused option on the east side of DougCo for years. It doesn't have the design budget of Los Dos Potrillos Castle Rock or the green-chile heritage of Savina's, but it has its own thing: a consistent kitchen, a deep tequila and Mexican-beer program, and a regular crowd that's been showing up for half a decade. Tripadvisor has it ranked #6 of 166 restaurants in Parker, which is real placement.
The menu is broad and home-cooked. Tacos al pastor with marinated pork and pineapple. Carne asada. Fajitas. Burgers (Mexican-style and standard American). Several seafood dishes including ceviche and shrimp cocktails. The kitchen accommodates gluten-free requests without theater (the corn tortillas, most of the rice and beans, and most of the meat preparations are naturally GF; servers will flag the exceptions). Family-recipe moles and sauces.
Margaritas are the bar's signature, with a list of frozen, on-the-rocks, and specialty options. The tequila list is deeper than it needs to be (60+ deep last we counted), and the bartenders will pour a flight of three or four if you ask. Mexican beer selection covers the standards plus a few rotating Pacificos and Modelos. Happy hour pricing on margaritas runs through the early-evening window most weekdays; the printed menu doesn't always reflect the bar specials.
The room is mid-volume on weekend nights and quiet weekday lunches. Service from the family staff is the consistent good. Catering and event service run from this location; weddings and rehearsal dinners book a separate room with custom menus.
Know before you go
- •Tacos al pastor or carne asada (the consistent menu standouts)
- •Margaritas (flight of three is the move on a first visit)
- •Family Sunday dinner with kids (the staff is patient)
- •Catering quotes for events (they do real catering, not just delivery)
Mon-Thu and Sun 11am-9pm, Fri-Sat 11am-9:30pm. Weeknight dinner is walk-in friendly. Weekend dinner backs up after 6:30pm; OpenTable reservations help. Cinco de Mayo and game-day Sundays are the busiest single windows.
Ask the bartender for the current happy-hour margarita pricing; it usually doesn't make it onto the printed menu but it's real. The tequila flight is a better intro than ordering one bottle's worth at a time. Order the Mexican beer alongside, not instead of, the tequila if you're staying past one round.
If you came specifically for the design or the upscale-room experience that Los Dos Potrillos Castle Rock offers, this isn't that; it's a working family restaurant in a strip-mall storefront. The 4.2 Tripadvisor average reflects mixed reviews on busy nights; weekday visits are the stronger experience.
